The beauty industry produces an estimated 120 billion units of packaging annually. This includes a large amount of unopened beauty products, which are often thrown away due to various factors like overproduction, expiry dates, or simply a preference for newer products. Most of it is discarded and thrown into landfills or worse; littered or ending up in our oceans. We can do better. These products deserve a second chance.
